Who makes travel arrangements and do I need a passport?
The resident is responsible for travel to and from Belize City, Belize. A member of the New River Cove staff will meet you at the Phillip Goldston International Airport and drive you to our facility which is about a 45 minute trip. A passport is necessary for travel.

What is alcohol and drug addiction treatment?
Alcohol and drug addiction treatment provides alternatives to the destructive behaviors associated with alcohol and other drug addiction. New River Cove emphasizes the mind, the body, and the spirit. Treatment at New River Cove is an educational process, physical enhancement, and spiritual awakening program.

What is the average length of stay?
The average length of stay at New River Cove is 30 to 90 days. Extended care is available in 30 day formats for as long as treatment is required, under a physicians' recommendation.
