Admissions and Fees

All residents are admitted for a standard 28-day program. The resident is responsible for travel to and from Belize City, Belize. A member of the New River Cove staff will meet you at the Phillip Goldston International Airport and drive you to our facility which is about a 45 minute trip. The all-inclusive fee for the 28-day program includes all materials, three meals daily, recreational activities, massage and exercise programs, counseling and routine medical support. There are no other significant costs for the program other than for personal items and optional recreational costs. If special medical treatment is required, those costs may also be the responsibility of the residents. Detoxification prior to admittance may be required for severe dependencies and will involve additional cost.

Guidelines for Acceptance

We are pleased to welcome residents of either gender, 18 years of age or older. We treat all alcohol and substance addictions. Each resident must complete a physical examination by a primary care physician and obtain a release to participate in all treatment activities.

When appropriate, medical detoxification must take place prior to admittance (we can help with those arrangements). A psychological history must be provided and residents must be emotionally stable at the time of treatment.
